I had a bad experience using Atlanta Painting Company in June of 2024. I haven't written the review until now, because I honestly hate thinking about how much money I paid to receive the paint job that I got. The initial price quoted to me was way higher than I expected, but they were able to meet closer to my expectations so I scheduled the job. The main positive I had was how quickly they were able to begin the job. They completed the job in the expected timeframe. During the walkthrough at the end of the job, I identified several areas that needed touch ups. Unbeknownst to me at that time, I'd spend the next few weeks finding more and more areas that needed touch ups.My painter used a sprayer to paint all the trim in my home, which resulted in splotchy coverage on almost every door frame and window frame. I called to have them back out for touch ups, and they came, but I later found countless other places that needed touch ups. In hindsight, I should have inspected everything more closely before calling for the first touch ups, but I didn't expect to spend the first few weeks in my new home inspecting the paint job from a company with such high reviews.I had to call multiple times to get someone back out, each time being reassured they'd work with the scheduler and they'd get back to me. There are still areas that need touch ups, but it was obvious the painter was frustrated with all the places I was pointing out. The times he was out for touch ups, he was very rushed and it was clear he did not want to be there. There are several drips on the walls still, and doors and doorframes that are still splotchy. There were only two pieces of furniture in the entire 2700 square foot house when the painting was done, and they somehow managed to get paint on one of those two pieces. In short, the only good part about my experience was how quickly they were able to begin the job.The first two pictures below show what almost all of the trim looked like before touch ups (and some still looks like this). The third picture is what one of my doors still looks like. The fourth is one of many drips.
